The Tuts are an all-girl 3-piece punk-, ska- and (indie)pop-band from Hayes, London. Beverly plays the drums, Harriet (who is also in the great Colour Me Wednesday) plays the bass and Nadia sings and plays the guitar. They don't have any records out yet, but I've not been able to stop listening to the few songs that are available through youtube and facebook. I think you'll agree that this is highly addictive, catchy and contagious stuff.
Look out for the next issue of Candy Twist for what should be the first ever interview with this talented bunch.

Never thought I'd see the day
The School are back! And with four lovely songs, too. Their sound has mostly stayed the same since their 2010 album 'Loveless Unbeliever' on this 7" and in this case that's a very good thing. No need to update their sixties pop to a more recent sound when they play it this well, is there?
1 Never Thought I'd See The Day
2 When He Kisses Me (Jonathan Richman cover)
3 Where Does Your Heart Belong?
4 I Wouldn't Know What To Do (Honeydrips cover)
Buy the single now at Elefant or any of the other places the band mentions on their blog.
